Electrofuels: More Efficient Than Photosynthesis

With the support of a $6 million grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Project Agency - Energy (ARPA-E), OPXBIO is developing a new, economical bioprocess to convert hydrogen and carbon dioxide into renewable diesel and jet fuel products. The U.S. Department of Energy highlighted the project in this video produced for the 2011 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit.
